About

Where fashion meets the law, and where you learn to practise it.

FashionLawyer.co is the learning and credentialing portal of Fashion Law Journal, an independent newsroom covering the legal landscape of the global fashion industry. The Journal reports on the law. This portal teaches it, to the lawyers, designers, founders, students and writers who have to work with it every day.

A global brief

Fashion is a cross-border industry, and so is its law: EU sustainability enforcement, US advertising rules, supply-chain due diligence, worldwide trademark strategy. Our teaching follows the industry, not one jurisdiction.

Practitioner-led

Sessions are taught by people doing the work: lawyers advising brands on IP, licensing, labour and compliance, and editors who cover the disputes as they happen.

Credentials that travel

Every programme ends with something you can show: a verifiable certificate, published bylines, or a toolkit of contracts and checklists you actually use.
